Ephedrine, preworkout?

Hi, I am new to these boards. Now I have read some of the threads about ephedrine, but these are all about it being a fat burner.....I use it as a preworkout, energy booster (if it burns off some fat, this is good too). I take 400mg of caffeine and 6 to 8 tabs of ephedrine (48 to 64mg) sometimes I will throw in a baby aspirin. I find that this works well and will leave my system by the end of the workout.

Thoughts, opinions, advice???

400mgs and 6-8 tabs, thats waayyyy to much, your gunna do some damage to yourself

waaaay too much ephys and caffine. you don't need that much for anything! I would take the ECA stack 4 weeks on 2-3 weeks off. take 200mg caffine,24 mg ephys and half an aspirin in the morning and then again before you train. 2 days out of the week don't take it at all...i do this on my off days. Ephedrine is a chemical and i don't think you should take it at doses of 64 mg  :o

no, he said hes not using it as a fat burner....why would he want to take it in the morning and before he trains,  just take it before training that will be fine, 1-2 C's and 2-3 E's at most, and make sure to take that aspirin its more important than you think.  Also make sure you do come off it every now and then for at least 4 weeks, this can be very addictive. If when stopping you experience some headaches just slowly lower your dosage until completely off.

I agree with the idea of taking a break from ephedrine. But that is my point, I only use it as a preworkout,,,i.e. 5 times a week. And I don't drink coffee. I don't think that I would want to take it 2 or 3 times a day,,that scares me even more.

Thats how i run ECA, but I use it for fat burning purposes.  If I was to use it for a "pick me up" then yes, I would take it before I trained.

When he mentioned two or three times a day, that is of course in much smaller dosages. The way your using it now is far more dangerous.

WAAAAY TOO MUCH, dude.
5 times a week 60mg? try to take some time off, you'll probably get bad headaches and sleep problems in the first weeks, probably some mild depression too. get over it, cold turkey and try to stay off ephedrine for half a year. you're fucking yourself up.

I took about  2000 mg of Ephedrine hcl EVERY DAY for years. Not exagerating either.It was really stupid and I was a lot younger then.It is Hard to say how much strain that was on my liver and kidneys.My point is,you develope a tolerance to ephedrine VERY quickly and it takes more and more to get that speed buzz feeling you get in the bedgining,and you feel like shit when you don't take it. It was a very very hard habit to break for me. Be carefull with that shit and resist the urge to up the dose once the speed feeling is gone.If you do not,believe me you will regret it in the long run.

  I was very very irritable. I didn't start out mega dosing,it just ended up like that. I work very long hours in a factory and I started taking it for energy after nights with little sleep. I loved the speed buzz I got from it and after awhile it took more and more to feel that.After awhile I had to have it just to feel normal.

Be careful man I used to take the stuff as a pre-work out kick and one time I popped like 4 or 5 hydroxycuts did a hard core leg workout came home and then thought my heart was going to stop - I was two seconds away from calling 911!!! The shit can fuck you up dog!!

Yeah Ephdra is no cup of coffee.  It used to take me a ful two weeks to get back to normal after taking it for a couple months.  Those two weeks I felt depressed, everything sucked.  Be carefull with ephdra,  I would only use it now once a day on days I want to achieve greatness in the gym.
