Dude , you need to stop that argument now.We not going down that road anymore.Forget mainstream for now, thats a topic we will talk about when the IFBB hits right with its current fans first

Talk about what it can do for *you* (a fan of BB)right now to increase fan interest and appease us.

Like i said the last straw is when you hear things like what happened with the webcast , and also things like `Gee i had to search the net for a while just to find results and pictures for a certain show`.I am saying the IFBB needs to promote BB`g in its own community properly first

What is with this obsession to bring bodybuilding mainstream? It will never happen. Like some else said, watching bodybuilders compete isn't something that appeals to the masses. I'm sure most people who go to the gym know that the "sport" of bodybuilding exists, they just don't give a damn. And mr.O, like any other contest, should be about who is the best bodybuilder, not who is "best" for the sport. Its not a personality contest.

#1 at the Olympia should be required to do ten media appearances for charitable organizations.

#2 at the O shuold have to do 9 media appearances.

Etc etc through the top 10.  Even if it's only local news, it's Bbers giving back to the community.  Lift weights with special olympics kids.  Help train a wounded soldier recovering from war injuries.  Give out BSN protein bars to homeless people even!

Bbers have to be seen as giving back.  During last night's mon night football game, I heard that 20/21-year old Carmelo Anthony was rebuilding a rec center in baltimore.  I know BBers don't have the cash to do that kind of thing, but they certainly have the time.  If Cutler can fly to 35 guest posings a year to hock MoneyTech's products, he can travel to a LV medical center or  homeless shelter ten times a year.  Give back and the public perception of Bbers as selfish, vain drug abusers might subside.

But ppl are always gonna feed us an everyready supply of why BB`g is gonna fail and will never be accepted.Im sorry , but they ARE wong.Pumping iron back decades ago showed how BB`gs impression was improved by just arnold.Okay but we wont get into the mainstream thang now, lets forget about that now , the topic is too vast

Im talking about current developments WITHIN the Bb`g community.Listen the athletes didnt even get paid out of the top 10 before , ppl fought for that to happen.The wasnt even an athletes rep before , and look @ the things bob can get done now.Things can change.what a breath of fresh air with the radio show was for fans
