I have read a book which made me realize that he is a coward. A simple coward. He tried to do the right thing, but he is a simple man and when faced with a threat, he backed down.
On 9/11, he was targeted and threatened as well. Read Tarpley's book "Synthetic Terror". A credible threat using that morning/s secret service protocol language/code words was called in as Bush took to the air, and a nuclear conflict with Russia nearly occured. (Condi and Ari confirmed this right after 911, then denied later). Bush went to Louisiana not to hide, but to physically, in person, diffuse what was about to become an escalation with Russia at the heart of nuke defenses there.
9/11 failed to cause a nuclear exchange, but it did cause those in the White house to 'stand down'.
(I know, someone's gonna call me an idiot and say i'm full of it, but it is what happened that day. I could retype the book for you, but it's easier just to tell you that the truth about what happened that day is indeed an inside job, but not with Bush at the steering wheel. He was a scared pawn. But getting him under oath is the first step in getting to who is behind it.)
