Albert Beckles??

This guy was born in 1930.. Does anybody have his pictures where he won a show in 1991, at the age of 61 against guys like Milos??

I ran into to him at a store last year. He still looks to be in very good condition. Maybe because guys of that era relied on training.

NAHHH...85 olympia era, maybe 84, I don't remember the background but it's def. not from 91.  Albert won the 91 Niagra beating sunny schmidt if I remember right and in all honesty it was a gift, Albert looked great up until about 88 then he started going downhill.  I have the 86 olympia on tape, taped off of ESPN and Albert looks freakin fantastic in that show, best back there besides Haney.

One of the many great things of training in Mr Americas in 84 was training next to guys like Beckles, hanging at the desk and learning all you could about diet, training as him and the other pros talked.  They spoke about alot more than the bodybuilders today, very into nutrition  and training strategies.

I'm pretty sure Joe Roark disputed the 1930 date and that's why muscle memory now lists 1938. Who is to say what date is correct with absolute certainty? Unless you have a copy of his Birth Certificate.

actually, those are from the 1988 Mr. O. where Al placed 15th. You can tell by the squares in the background.
