I am a Yankee fan so I am pulling for the Cardinals. I can't stand the fucking Mets. I hope Glavine gets bombed and Jeff Weaver pitches the game of his life!

I'm rooting for the team with the Jewish guy on it....

Or is it the team with the average age being 57....

I can't remember who that is?   ;)

St. Louis never ends up winning it all. They seem to choke when the games matter most. I'm going with the Mets to win the NLCS and The Tigers to win it all. Their pitching staff is just too damn good.

Pujols proved what an asshole he really is by saying that Glavine isn't that good and that he got lucky that the Cardinal bats fell silent, what a sore loser.

He really said that? Man, when you lose just accept the fact the other guy was better that night.

Albert is looked at like royalty here in St. Louis and in a way i can't argue with that because the man has had arguably the best first six years of any man in the history of the game but he's been getting really arrogant lately snapping at the media, making them wait for interviews, smart ass comments, etc.

Would have been interesting to see Oakland and the Cardinals in the World Series.

Mets will win that series then get smashed by the tigers.

To bmacys and groink. Does Zitos performance in the playoffs scare you at all for the money he wants? I know you guys are Yankees fans and with them and the sox looking for front line pitching Zito is likley to be courted by one of the two. Scares me with him melting down like that. Rumors have him going to the Yankees or the Angels with Boston obv in the hunt also. What do you think about him coming to the Bronx with the pressure? I know there is a ton there and up here in Boston.

I like Zito and I think he would help solidify the Yankees rotation but at what price? I don't think Zito is a 15 million dollar per year pitcher. That is what he will be looking for. I would give that kind of coin to the Twins ace Santana but thats about it. The Yankees get locked into these huge contracts which gives them no flexibility. I say spend the money on bullpen help. Hopefully that goofball Pavano can pitch next year, buy out Mussina's last year and try to resign him at a much lower number than 17 million per year. The Yankees staff definately needs to get younger besides Wang.
