I wrap mine when I go over 405. That is when my wrists start to hurt.
It's good to be strong...

A guy on my team used to wrap them for all excersises.

And that includes curls, squats, and probably crunches (if he would've done those) 8).

He's got problems with weak wrists, cannot support the weight in benchpress.

What he's doing right now, is to step by step remove the wrist wraps from all excersises except heavy benching.

It will take him a few months, but he's a text book example of what happens if you use wrist support too much.

With that being said, I think wraps should be used on all heavy lifts, as they actually add to the lifting capacity.

I never wrapped my wrists or my knees! But I am going to start wrapping my knees, cause I am going to compete again in PL! Only because thoses wraps can help you to lift more weight, nothing more!

i use titan THP wrist wraps for anything under 3 reps...you can lift more using the wraps and the lift feels smoother.

i refuse to use them for anything else...

Knee wraps are a great idea! I have terrible knees and this is the only way I can go heavy anymore. I have to wrap from 455 and up. Wrist wraps...never tried them, never asked anyone about them. But go with what works.

i agree with keeping the wraps for use solely with the heaviest lifts

unfortunately, the way my wrists are now if I dont use wrist wraps for most exercises these days my wrists crumble like paper mache

I use them for squats also due to the angle of the wrist during the lift.

I can understand why.

I always wrap my wrists.  Jsut me.  But, on Friday I did bench and forgot and kept my watch on.  I only had 315 on there but I use thumbless so my wrist bends back.  Well my frickin watch pops off.  Both those little pins broke and the band came off.  I went to Longs Drugs to get it fixed.  No one was there.  I speant almost an hour doing it myself.  Those thing are so small and my damm hands are so big it was almost impossible to do but I did it.
