devastating knees, totally 1 sided

I dont care if Rich's mom died. The reality of it is that he is a fighter he shouldve been prepared, he knew ghe had a fight and he got owned. in the worst way. It looked as if he has never trained against the clinch. When a fighter looses a fight there is always a exscuse. F*CK that what happened is that Rich fought a fighter that had some skill and he got his ass handed to him. Just imagine how bad rich wouldve gotten beat down had he not been in the clinch... Bottom line rich just isnt use to fightin people with that level of skill. Rich lays on people that he out weighs by 20 lbs at fight time and gnp them....

to say that rich hasn't fought anybody with any skill is just stupid. the man has heart and is a great fighter. i wasn't really trying to make an excuse for him though. he knows he got beat but he's human, he had personal problems and his head wasn't in the fight. can he beat silva..yes i believe he can. will he.. who knows?  i will say that i thought it was unfair of the ufc to put rich against someone like silva in his comeback from all the injuries he sustained against david L. (can't spell his last name). i also think the ufc takes advantage of him signing him to a long contract and paying him peanuts while they use him up flying him all over the country making appearances when he should have be training. sorry for the rant

I will state again while Rich has had the belt he has fought no one near as skilled as silva. He has outweighed and out layed almost all of his opponents. Having heart is important as a fighter, but i question how skilled Rich is. Period. I might get ridiculed for that comment but i dont think that he is the best in his weight class. Do i think he can beat silva small chance... any fighter is beatable it just takes one shot. but can he beat silva on his best day VS. Silva's best day not a chance in hell. I honestly think that Dana thought that Rich would win Rich is Dana's pretty boy you think Dana is Gonna make a ton of money off silva like he did Rich HELL NO. so why would dana wanna lose one of his cash crops. And when your a champ flying around and making apparences.... so you cant make any exscuse for RICH he knew what he was getting into. BOTTOM LINE RICH GOT OWNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fuck, as much as I hate to say it, your right!  I wanted Rich to win so bad but damn he got ass raped!  I mean, he's my guy!  We'll see what he's made of in the next 6 months!  How someone rebounds is the ultimate test of skill and will!  I'm just glad that isn't my nose!!!! ;D

I don't understand how things went so wrong so fast for Rich.  He looked like an amateur.  Horrible.

his nose is fine by the way. they did a great job on it..you can't even tell it was broke. he was at the gym yesterday training hard and heavy. he was doing deadlifts, powercleans and the reverse hyper extension machine. he looked strong.

I hope he trains how to get out of the clinch this time.... i like rich i just dont believe he looked like a champ when he was in the ring. he looked just as bad as some of the guys he coached/punked on tuf4

He needs to go back to the basics and start training his ass off again. Can he step up and meet the challenge is the question. If he gets his head into it, I think he could.

I'm sure Rich will avoid the clinch at all costs in the rematch.  I read in an interview that he can't spar again until mid December because of the surgery on his nose.

Fuck did you really say that... But let me guess you would be the first in line to tell him how much of a nut hugger you are of his.... and all that shit... these men wether over-rated or not are trained fighters there 9-5 is the gym and training.. would anyone walk up to any profesional fighter and say they were over-rated and sucked... How about tyson he's overrated or so everyone says.. would you tell him that.. would you tell bruce lee he couldnt fight in his prime... what kind of moronic statement was that... i bet you wouldnt tell him that.. stfu

P.S. if you told rich that he would probably laugh at you and drive away in his 100 dollar car with his bitch and laugh all the way to his comfortable house... so who cares bottom line franklin got owned looked like shit and didnt impress anyone on this board with the way he got owned... so yeah franklin looked way over-rated and personally looked like a rookie and i wouldn't want him holding my orginazations belt with the way he looked ...

the thing about is guys talk crazy about bbers and fighters behind a keyboard knowing they wouldn't be that bold in person. its stupid to talk crazy like you are when you've never been where he has been. heck i bet you've never been in a mma fight in your life.
ps. franklin has a jeep and a hummer not a 100 dollar car

Rich better not stay at range with Anderson.  Anderson is the better striker of the two.  His best opportunity is to take it to the ground and GNP.

Damn it i meant 100 thousand dollar.... Hey man i train and i have fought.... only twice but getting back into it...but i've been training since i was 13 with my father... And i agree with you on the shit talking part... but hey man people in general talk tough period... look at the assholes in traffic that act all hard flipping you off and acting tough... what do they do when you get out of your car at a red light they either drive off or roll up the windows and lock the doors. I've seen this to many times... So yeah man people in general think that there tough when they have no frickn idea. Hell dude ive said this before 80% of people have no frickin clue how to fight. but they sure think they do. when in fact they would be owned by my 115 lb. ex-girlfriend(granted her dad was a 7th dan and she was a black belt).....
