They are turning against him because he is waaaaay too controversial and too uncivilized to be contained in a magazine. Even he is too SHOCKING and too rebelious for MD.

You see what happend was this. MD is getting TONS of lawsuits and insurance companies sikking their lawyers on them for the fatal or serious injuries pictures of Lee flipping the middle finger caused.

Didn't you know that a picture of Lee flipping the finger can cause serious injury and even DEATH in adults under 120lbs and children under age 12?

Also...and I have personal expierence with this. Depending on your current cardiovascular condition and health...to read his column can cause arrythmia and possible CVS(stroke) if the content is SHOCKING enough.

It was about 3 months ago when I woke up to find myself in an ER with 2 i.v.'s stuck in me. According to the nurses and hospital staff I fainted and had heart palpitations in a local 7-11 and an MD magazine was found next to me. All I remember was flipping through the magazine which caught my attention because one of the cover titles said..."Lee Priest: The Shocking Truth" so I was reading a little of it and I guess my body couldnt take it...I don't even remember hitting the floor...just waking up in a busy ER.

Thank you, sir. Thank you. I do appreciate your support. Don't get me wrong...I am still in rehab and I still have no sensation in my face, hands and left arm.

My laywer is considering depostitions against MD and holding Steve Blechman liable for my injuries and not Lee...reason being is that Steve Blechman KNEW how seriously dangerous Lee and his shocking out-spoken attitude and his middle finger was/is. Lee was just being in his normal nature of ruthless and rebelious so he can't be held liable also...MD enticed readers to go to the column with tag titles on the cover like..."Lee Priest: The Shocking Truth" or "Lee Priest Speaks Out!!!".

They are clearly held liable.

I do feel lucky...it could have been worse. I credit my survival to using 4-6 Omega/fishoil caps daily since they are so good for your cardiovascular system. Not to mention...the quick thinking 7-11 clerk who dialed 911. Without those two factors...TheBlockHead might not be with us today.

Sadly there have been several cases of Acute Lee Priest Shock Syndrome here also. People have been dropping like flies and some stores have had no choice but to remove MD from their shelves to avoid the potential lawsuits. In perhaps the saddest case, a 12 year old boy still remains in a coma. Lil Mitch was shopping with his mother when he saw MD in the magazine rack. He rushed over and picked it up, quickly noticing the words LEE PRIEST CONFESSES ALL!!! on the cover. Lee is his favorite bodybuilder since they both share the same height 4 foot 8. He quickly flipped to the Lee Priest confessional where he not only saw his hero flipping the bird but also saw the F word in bold print. Needless to say he collapsed to the floor quicker than Lee Priest gets married and Lil Mitch has been in a coma ever since. I hope everyone takes great care whenever they read MD. Acute Lee Priest Shock Syndrome is real and can be fatal. Please keep Mitch and The Blockhead in your prayers. God bless you all.

Thank you, sir. I need all the prayers and support I can get. It's ironic you mentioned Lil Mitch because I am supposed to go visit him in 2 weeks. I heard recently he is now responding to name and can "wiggle his big toe'. I am going to visit him in Memphis, TN where he lives and attends school. He should have started the 4th grade already but it looks like he might be held back a year.

The 7-11 near my work where I USED to go pick up MD stopped carrying them and now the only place to pick up any MD in Chicago are at Border's and Walden bookstores but you have to present 2 ID's, be over age 29, get a doctors physical and provide a medical record not to mention...be present with a lawyer. MD is going to be losing sales BIG TIME with all the hassel to acquire one.

That is why they are slowly turning their backs on Lee Priest. They can't afford the constant litigation and they are going to go bankrupt if Lee is allowed to spread his wrath and fury any longer. He is just way too controversial and way to dangerous. Cases like Lil Mitch Anderson and TheBlockHead is just tip of the iceberg...it is estimated that ONE person is admitted to a hospital daily as a DIRECT cause of reading something "shocking" or "truthful" that Lee says...think about the many cases that went UNreported. I estimate it to be in the hundreds if not thousands daily.

By all legal and moral accounts, the suspension of an athlete for competing in a different organization's competition is an anti-competitive practice. To punish a professional athlete for using his primary means of income (his physique) to achieve financial success is a shameful practice and is tantamount to the old Hollywood movie studio system of "blackballing" actors who worked with opposing movie studios. It was illegal then and remains illegal now.

Mr. Priest would like to remain an athlete in good standing with the IFBB; however, if you choose to suspend him for his lawful actions, he has directed this firm to take any and all measures to exercise his legal rights, including but not limited to: (1) Filing suit against the IFBB; (2) Filing complaints with the FTC and the CCB; and (3) Filing a complaint with the Department of Justice's Anti-Trust Division. The ramifications of such legal actions, together with the media coverage thereof could swiftly turn a small, private matter into a public debacle that could require embarrassing disclosures for both my client and your prestigious organization.

In light of the above, I urge you to reconsider your position on this matter. I believe that permitting my client to participate in both IFBB and non-IFBB events without retribution would be in our collective best interests. I hope you will agree.

It is true. There is also going to be a huge expose' in Time magazine, and a segment on 20 20.

I don't enjoy the '15 minutes' I'm recieving on this but I almost died...and more people are going to die if Steve Blechman doesn't do something about this now. Lil Mitch Anderson may not ever walk again and his childhood is STRIPPED away because he happened to glance at a Lee Priest column and was a victim of his lethal 'middle finger'. That could have been avoided. Some say it's the parents fault and some are comparing this to Columbine but if you ask me..it is Mr. Blechmans fault and he should be held liable. Lee was being natural and wasn't trying to hurt anybody. If you stick your head in an alligators mouth or try to get too close to a sting ray...it's going to do what it naturally does so you can't blame them.

Blockhead, I'm glad to hear your recovery is coming along. I was thinking maybe next March at the first GetBig ASC Weekend we can have a fundraiser for Lil Mitch. I'm hoping all of our prayers between now and then will help him as he fights to recover. I'm sure his family would appreciate any money we can collect to help with his long hospital stay and recovery. We'll collect as much money as we can and we'll deliver it to him right after the ASC. It's the least we can do to help one of our youngest iron brothers.....God bless you Lil Mitch Anderson.

blockhead is there any news on perhaps setting up a foundation to help assist victims of lee priest and get them back on their feet?
