This is a Timbaand Timbaland project, and as I said Tim's beats overpower Justin's voice, he has no flow with it, there is no balance, no sensuality, just beats. Mostly club songs..
Talent... if you consider Justin as talented, my guess is you've never listen to The Best of Sade, or Maxwell's "Now", or Jahiem's "Ghetto Classics". He would never be mentioned in the same breath as those artists.

Good club music, when you're only hearing beats, but it is filler music. Sales can mean many things. One, today's X and Y gen buy the first thing out, and since we have short attention spans, we loose interest, then the sales go down, and we go to the next "big thing". Second, it shows what Pop music has gone to, Rubin Studdard, and Fantasia are far better singers than Justin, they just don't have the look that teenager girls like, and plus what do these girls know about love, Justin as well? Am. Music has severely gone down hill, especially Hip-Hop, what with Rapper's now singing.
Lastly, I will answer your first statement. Justin has no backbone, that is why they were able to mold him into whatever they wanted when he was in that boy band. And it showed when he came off the stage in the Janet debacle, and said, "We just had to give the fans a show", then later he says that he didn't know about what going to happened. He's got no balls, and Britney thought so as well, that is why she didn't fuck him, but had two babies by a loser called K Fed. Justin went from a girl who had more money than him bigger breasts, better ass, to a woman who 10 years older than him, skinnier than a rail, flat ass, and no breasts, and a waning career.
