Where in the World is Rico McClinton?

That Dude had a promising future in bodybuilding. he was a friend and training partner of Paul Dillett. Rico just dissapeared all of a sudden. Any word on Him anybody?

He went natural after Flex's kidney problems. I don't think he competes anymore.

He's in Venice California...training clients, as he's done for many years now. Yes, he stopped competing years ago.

I actually saw him on "Wheel of Fortune" about 6 months ago.  He was still big looking, but not huge, just fit.

I spoke to him at the Olympia EXPO, he is training people, has clients like Willie McGinnest, Shawn Merriman and others. He is a part time Actor, saw him on CSI & Alias, still training but not BBing.

He's at Gold's Venice all the time. Cool cat.

His physical change from drugs to drug-free were incredible. His weight loss was totally expected and the change to his body was extreme, but even his face changed. When I first saw him (1st time in 4-5 years) I absolutely did not recognize him, and I knew Rico pretty well.

Rico NEVER had a shot at becoming a good pro - look at all those "posse" pics in the old Flex mags of Ricco, Flex, Dillet, and sometimes Shawn training together.

Sad to say but Ricco's genetics were just nowhere as good as those elite bbrs.

i agree...rico is another example of how genetics are the most important factor in becoming a top bodybuilder.

i'm sure he was using as much gear or more as flex and the others.

but all the gear in the world would not overcome what he lacked genetically.

defintely sucks considering all of his friends were pros.

Rico was not delusional and knew he was at a disadvantage but loved to train hard and with the best guys!

Rico had some of the craziest abs and intercostals for a big man, thought for sure he would turn pro. Making money and a living is more important though.

Somewhere being an asshole, like Flex would say. Flex called him an asshole several times in one of his videos for no reason. I remember him saying to Rico, "Sorry about that asshole." It was kinda funny though

Shawn - just to clarify, I never meant to imply Rico was delusional.
