New Conspiracy Theory on this years Olympia

Well, now that all the conspiracy theories have died down - I thought I'd introduce a new one for discussions sake.  How about this one (and it's not PDI related):

Ronnie lost the Olympia this year because MD kept bragging about their new issue coming out Olympia weekend with Ronnie on the cover.  Everybody knew it was coming out well in advance.  So, if Ronnie would have won the Olympia and people would go to the news stands - they would more likely buy the mag with the Ronnie cover (MD).  With Jay winning, AMI has the magazine upper hand - as they will be able to rush a Flex and/or M&F to market with Jay on the cover - and sell the hell out of it ($$$).  MD, with an issue just released, would be #2 to market with the news and weeks behind AMI.

Ok... enough of this theory.  Can you tell I'm stretching here

Nothing wrong with creative conspiracy theories, but consider that your theory may be chronologically reversed.

Perhaps MD was falsely tipped that Ronnie had #9 in the bag and ran him on the cover, all the while the suits at AMI were correctly tipped that Cutler was going to be crowned the new champ, hence Flex getting a contest winner on their cover (2 weeks) faster than they've ever done (by at least a month).

I'm thinking MD has a fan base and no matter what they put on the cover it sells....putting a controversial picture of the Un mr olympia just went in their direction....I think that month last year John did a "mr.Olympia dethrown article" so I guess they were going for irony???
