Well, now that all the conspiracy theories have died down - I thought I'd introduce a new one for discussions sake. How about this one (and it's not PDI related):
Ronnie lost the Olympia this year because MD kept bragging about their new issue coming out Olympia weekend with Ronnie on the cover. Everybody knew it was coming out well in advance. So, if Ronnie would have won the Olympia and people would go to the news stands - they would more likely buy the mag with the Ronnie cover (MD). With Jay winning, AMI has the magazine upper hand - as they will be able to rush a Flex and/or M&F to market with Jay on the cover - and sell the hell out of it ($$$). MD, with an issue just released, would be #2 to market with the news and weeks behind AMI.
Ok... enough of this theory. Can you tell I'm stretching here
