Nubret didn't believe in overtraining, same as TA.  He would train for hours a day.  Also he would stay lean year round because he didn't overeat relative to the energy he expended.

Just some examples.  The dude was downright nutty.  The sad thing is, none of what he was doing was necessary to build a world class physique.  He would have developed just the same if he trained in some other manner, or not far off.  I wonder if his ridiculous diet and training techniques resulted in his health problems down the road.  It seems disrespectful to say that since he is deceased, but I was wondering about that before.
