did Nasser have news on a release date for his book?

Yes, it sure was an honour!  Nasser does not have an actual release date and is just working on the book slow and steady.  I would guess sometime in the middle of next year.

I BELieve Nasser may have close to a photographic memory.

Very true - he has always been known to remember fans' names and faces even after years of no contact - he remembered mine after three years and I've heard many similar stories.  Jon Cole PM'd me yesterday saying that Nasser remembered his name in 2004 after meeting in 2002. 

Nasser is definitely one of the most intelligent people on the planet and at his best he was the best bodybuilder in the world - what a deadly combination of brains and brawn!

You're just throwing a hissyfit because this does not have to do with your boy Mike Francois!  Which reminds me, one of Nasser's stories concerned the 1994 NOC where the judges ridiculously placed Francois 1st and Nasser 2nd since Nasser was the European up-and-commer while Francois was the home-grown favourite.  The two were prevoiusly scheduled to do a Flex photoshoot together with Chris Lund the day after the show, but after Francois realized how much of a gift he got at the show he didn't even show up to the photoshoot because he did not want Flex to publish a photoshoot between the two which would reinforce to readers that his victory was unjustified.

Here is Nasser, me and the owner of World's Gym in San Diego (previously Gold's).  Knny187 previously posted that Nasser was kicked out of this gym for getting into an argument with another member and that apparently this was "well known" in the San Diego area.  Nasser brought me to this gym and it came up while chatting with the owner and he laughed and said, "I keep hearing these rumours that Nasser was kicked out of here and I have no idea why or how they started?!"  He then gave each of Nasser and me free t-shirts, reinforcing the respect Nasser gets at that gym, contrary to Knny187's claims.

Different type of builds and genetics

In other words Nasser was a better bodybuilder as he had superior genetics. Thanks for re-affirming this.

Nassor came at a time when freakish mass was rewarded..if classical type builds were being rewarded milos would of been up there..

"Classical type builds" is just a synonym for less massive bodybuilders like Milos as even though they had access to modern supplementation and knowledge they still were only able to resemble bodybuilders of the previous era who did not have that access.  Nasser was in a separate league than Milos, plain and simple.

I like to rag on Nasser here. But in all seriousness the guy was a great bodybuilder. Getbig ignorance aside - I do think he was one of the best ever. How he kept a small waist while carrying so much mass was incredible. He looks good today and looks like he enjoys life. Nice pics BigBobs.

I had the honour of staying at Nasser's place from Nov 1st to 6th, and will be sharing some pics and info I gathered from the visit.  I would have made this thread earlier but I went to Vegas after visiting Nasser and just returned home recently.

The first thing I noticed about Nasser was that he is still HUGE.  He weighed 310 lbs, and it was visibly believable.  Even today, years after retirement, he's bigger than most pros I've met who are still competing! 

He was also VERY hospitable.  Nasser did not treat me like a friend, but like family.  I really felt like I was at home.  He spent all six days driving me around to check out the local sights, gyms, restaurants, intoruced me to his friends, etc.  He even paid for everything when we would go out, and gave me a few sentimental gifts as well.

actually Nasser did have a classical type build- he was the 1st and only true mass monster @ 275 pounds plus with a <34 inch waist, tight abs with  no gut distension (1995 to 1999), and a great V taper. In other words he had mass monster size AND also classical V taper, shape , symmetry and aesthetics
