What do u think??  I was thinking about going as Steve Irwin, and
having the stingray barb coming out my chest with some blood dripping
down my shirt..   Is this tasteless  :D

How original. I've only hear about 5 hundred people say that they were doing that.

No, he's not...he gave up that right when he competed for the PDI.

He's a FORMER IFBB pro.

What about St Cloud and the other guy?

Are they also now FORMER IFBB pros?

I guess I figured you'd help them appeal their suspensions.

1. No one has asked for any help.

2. There wouldn't be anything I could do, being that the rule isn't up for debate.

3. They all are quite aware of the consequences of their actions.

4. If they're REALLY looking to start fresh somewhere else...why try and stay with the IFBB?

Anything can be debated...doesn't mean they're going to change it....in this case, they're not.

If it were an infraction of the Code of Conduct (where there is definite room for debate) then I could help...or if there was some precedent which showed a different course of action for an individual who violated the same rule, then there is action that can be taken...

Clearly in this case, there's not.

Well technically the IFBB has no power to restrict where and when their athletes compete. There's no guaranteed salary so they have no authority over those who compete in their events. Hopefully Lee goes through with the appeal in Montreal since it'll open up the floodgates and competitors will be able to compete wherever they want.

That's like saying i can't enter a 2 on 2 basketball tournament because i play college ball.

Anyways, crocodile hunter costume = lame and predictable. Taking your kid out as brangelina's adopted african baby = genius. :D

Go as any (active) IFBB Pro with a Manion doll sticking it up his ass.  Is this too predictable?

Yes... FORMER...whats so hard to understand?

Whats hard to understand is the ruling and what you are telling people.  From what the rules state they are suspended.  I'm not sure but in IFBB lingo (which is possible) does suspension mean former or kicked out.  Please make it easier for us to understand.

Special Ed approves of your costume.

TOP TEN FIVE SPECIAL ED COSTUMES IN HALLOWEENS PAST

1. John Ramsey with strangled JonBenet doll attached at groin.
2. WTC Towers One and Two (with girlfriend as Tower Two) replete with airplanes sticking out of chest.
3. OJ and Nicole (thanks again to girlfriend for being good sport)
4. Michael Jackson and slumber party children (thanks to parents from my neighborhood for being so understanding in lending me their kids)
5. Scott and Laci Peterson (I wore usual sailing outfit and created papier mache "torso with fetus".

This year's Family Costume: Brad and Angelina with adopted African baby (Hope neighbors don't object to use of 'blackface' on baby).

It seems that Bob C. is not truly the 'IFBB Athlete's Rep'

I am a PGA Golf Professional and my company has built and opened several country clubs over the years.  Our attorneys always advise us when setting up a Membership Program that we create a Members Advisory Board, made up of a group of hand-picked Members who are the biggest supporters of Management.  The reason, "If you don't organize the Members, they will organize against you".  The IFBB is smart, they have done exactly what we do, hand-picked a Rep who will always side with management.

An example of a true "Athletes Rep" would be the Players Unions in MLB or the NFL or NBA.  Those reps will always support the players, even if they clearly break the rules.  For instance, players have been caught violating the drug policies over and over again and each time their reps have fought against suspensions or fines even if they are clearly warranted.  An NFL player can even stab somene outside an Atlanta bar or stomp on another player's head during a game and the Players Union will fight for him all the way.

If the IFBB pros really want to change the way things are run, they need to form a union or 'players association' and argue for the benefits they want.  They do not need a rep who will quickly abandon them and will always simply side with management.  It is possible that the majority of IFBB Pros are very satisfied with the ways things are run in the IFBB and have no desire to make any changes.  Since that is likley the case, Bob may be doing exactly what he was chosen to do, support the IFBB, not the athletes.
