 ;D  I usually wait till the day after Thanksgiving, but I just ordered Diana Krall's Christmas CD and can't wait to listen to it.  It should be here in about a week.  I love her music.

I love this time of the year!

doesn't the endless summer kill christmas? No snow, no proper christmas tree, no hot drinks . . . no shoveling the driveway five minutes before mom gets there.

Normally I would say yes, much too early, ...but with the temps we've been having lately... I don't know.

It's wierd walking down the street and seeing flowers in full bloom, lawns green like a golf course, yet seeing orange leaves falling from the trees. Usually when it's this cold, ...the grass is definitely NOT green, and there are no flowers anywhere.  :-\

the only party I was invited to is tonight, and I'm still at work. so, probably nothing here too.  Earlier in the week, I thought I would go as a biker (i have a Mongols jacket I got at a pawnshop, and I have the rest of the getup b/c I used to ride a motorcycle).

Nope.  I've had endless summers for most of my life.  I don't like white Christmases.  We have a tree every year, my kids drink hot chocolate, my wife drinks tea, I drink protein shakes . . . .  I have never shoveled snow.  I'm sure my mother, a frequent visitor, doesn't miss snow either (she's never lived in snow).
