i thinks this is really good for jay that ronnies already announced hes competing, this will keep jay on track to be better then this yr and not slack  at all because ronnies retired! i think jay will dominate 07 like ronnie did 03!

ronnie could have been smart and said idunno im leaning to retirement then pop out of nowhere and catch a off cutler!
 no ones smart like arnie used to be with the mind games anymore!

if ronnie declares that he's retiring there goes his contract and endorsements, not to mention response to seminar bookings etc etc.

he makes more money through the year than the olympia anyway.

this way it's going to be 'can ronnie come back and reclaim the throne?' actually has an enticing effect on fans as opposed to the old 'oh yeah, ronnie will come back and win it again...yawn'

kind of makes you think that maybe the whole thing WAS a set up. :o

Jay has not done that at all.  His "victory" is a step backwards, not forwards.  Cutler is not a worthy Mr. O and this political travesty is ultimately going to backfire on the IFBB.

Ronnie started out with a huge leap forward, but then he continued to spiral downward risking size over conditioning and aesthetics. Ronnie and Dorian could be blamed for the non-recognition of the new judging criteria allegedly put into effect 2 years ago. Ronnie may have set the current judging standard, but Jay beat him at it.
