Ah, so many Bond memories... and the music!  The Best of Bond is one of my favorite soundtracks--every song a hit!  The first movie I ever saw was a James Bond movie, but I wont' say which one lest I date myself.  :-[

I know it's anathema to say this but Connery is not my favorite Bond.  Yes, he was great but Roger Moore is my Bond.  I love that opening scene in (I forget which movie) where he is flying a mini plane that is about to run out of fuel... he lands it on a local street, coasts into a gas station and the attended walks out with a shocked look on his face at seeing a mini plane pull up.  Moore looks up at him and says, "Fill her up."  Then the opening credits begin!

Roger Moore was a good Bond although you can't argue with Sean Connery.

My favourite Bond movie is probably "License to Kill". Decent punani in that one - can't decide which girl I like the best in that film.

There are only three legitimate Bond characters.  In order:

Connery
Brosnan
Moore

No one can touch Connery IMO.  He's one of my all-time favorite actors.

Never been into the old bonds much, so I'm gonna have to pick Brosnan.

He so looks the part like no other IMO, and behaves so English, yet he is an Irishman :o. Class act.

Favorite would have to be Goldeneye.

i like the direction the new Bond is going in. a more gritty type of agent, seems to be more of a mercenary. i think recently the Bonds have been getting to over the top with the gadgets, esspecially the last one. the look of the new Bond is against the grain of the previous agents which is what the franchise needed i believe. he actually looks like he could kill you unlike the others.

This is at a Celebrity Tennis event in Boca Raton I played in.  This is Kristina Wayborn who starred in Octopussy.  She was hot.  I played against her and Bjorn Borg in the night finals.  My pro was Nels Van Patton.  They beat us

My uncle Bernie reminded me allot of James Bond.  The way he lived and acted.  He was a playboy in the 60's and 70's.  He became a millionaire in 1963 and from then on lived very very well till he died in 1994.  He was my mom's brother.  Real Estate broker in LA.  I remember he had a girl over at the house one day.  I go over and my cousin comes out and tells me a Playboy bunny is in the pool.  He then shows me a Playboy with her pic in it.  Plus he jsut acted so cool.  As a kid he was a hero to me.  I love the James Bond series.

Onlyme... judging by the size of your sausage fingers, it would be more efficient for you to use your hand as a tennis racket. You would of made it to Wimbledon if you would of realized this!

My Bond favorites go:
Moore, Brosnan, Connery.  This list is very close to one another though...almost like the 2004 Mr. Olympia results.  ;)

My favorite Bond movies:

For Your Eyes Only (Topol is the man)
Goldeneye
Sleep Big.

Connery was the real James Bond. He had authority. Moore was just a comedian.

Connery is my favorite but I like the Moore movies better.  I think the guy who plays in the Transporter movies would make a good James Bond.

Funny you should mention that... I have both Transporter I and II in my Netflix queue.

I wonder if we’ll ever see the hint of a gay or lesbian character in a Bond movie.  Bond films are always hypersexual after all; I’m surprised they haven’t made use of a lesbian villain/killer yet.

Wasn't there a pair of gheyers as villains in one of Roger Moore's Bond films? The one was a tubby fat chap with glasses, and I can't remember what the other one looked like. It was the one with the moon buggy in the desert.
