bush's goal is to win in iraq. that has never changed. the stratagies to win the war are always changing, so it depends on which situation hes talking about

What "situations" has be been referring to?

From what I understand, he has been referring to the war, and only the war.  Are there additional situations to which he referred?

to win the war. "to stay the course"
the strategies to win the war. "ive never been stay the course". meaning the strategies have to adapt and change.
so the two strategies are the war itself, and how to fight the war

During an interview today on ABC’s This Week, President Bush tried to distance himself from what has been his core strategy in Iraq for the last three years. George Stephanopoulos asked about James Baker’s plan to develop a strategy for Iraq that is “between ’stay the course’ and ‘cut and run.’”

Meddy, I feel so bad for you.  You're so excited about signing up to take a bullet for the Bush oil machine.  great plan.

and there IS an option which doesn't involved either cut/run OR staycourse.

it's called, "guard the border, infrastrucure, and pipelines- peopleless important areas - and let the fcuking iraqis police their lawless streets on their own".

It's a common sense method that idiots on the right and left cannot seem to fathom.

How about this strategy: "Get the fuq out and concentrate on home"

We spend money the war, China spends money on their infrastructure, ours of which is falling apart
