PS3 coming on 11/7?

I saw a commercial last night.  maybe I've been living under a rock, but one week of commercials for the very great playstation 3?  Anyone know if indeed it will be out in a week, what games will be like, etc etc?

Good luck getting one for several months. 

Actually many game developers are saying that most games will look virtually identical to 360 games, as they develop most stuff cross-platform with certain graphics engines (Unreal 3 engine for example.)  But it does come with BlueRay for high def movies built in, which is cool.

Man, I forgot all about that!  Major possibilities there.

Plus, Gears of War comes out next Tuesday.  That game alone is reason enough to buy a 360.

All games on the release of the PS3 are cross platform.

The xbox 360 now lets you stream .wmv movies from your computer, even if it isn't a media center PC.
