Housing and Location in Aussie Land
« on: November 01, 2006, 01:37:16 PM »
Do any of the folks from Aussie know of nice areas in the main Australian cities. Most interested in Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne. I have relatives in Perth, but I much prefer the East.

What are house prices like down under these days? :)

As a Sydneysider... Average price of a house in suburban Sydney (within the radius of 30k of the cbd) is $500k-$600k.. Houses in the eastern subs (of Sydney- close to the coast) are in excess of $1mil +

Basically what Nordic wants to know is where housing areas are that have no muslims near or in them.

Is this AUS$ or USD$ you're speaking of?

I don't really want a city home, but Sydney is my No 1 choice.

ROFLMAO! Surely the English colonisers didn't make up these names? Did the Aborigines name them?

Obviously :-\

Yeah, that's a prerequisite. I want to stay away from muslim communities if at all possible.
