I just picked up the new Musclemag international and I have to say, I am dissapointed with this writer Guy Grundy. He claims to be be a journalist, but unfortantely, he lets his own bias deter him from reporting the entire story. He states in his article that I attack other bodybuilders instead of doing the talking with my body, citing my rifs with Vinny Galanti and Chick. I would like to make two points clear:
1) It was Chick who attacted me and for days calling me a fraud and stated I had not won the North American overall title. Slanderous at least, and even after it was proven factually and through photos, he still has not conceeeded and apologized. It was not untill he srtuck at (with no provocation) me first, that I lashed out, stating that I felt he was diven a gift at the masters champs.
2)The words between Vinny and I were over his constant swagger back and forth over whether he would do the NOC or not. I felt he was making excuses, and I have been proven right, as I have seen proof that in his own words, he never intended to compete in the PDI in the first place. I knew this, I called him on it, and still feel like he weaseled out of a contract.
3) As far as being given a gift of PDI Pro, Guy, maybe you should read the guidelines, and you will see that I clearly qulaify, like it or not. I would think you knew that, since you claim to be such an expert.
In closing Guy Grundy, you should look up the meaning of Journalism, and maybe you should do more reasearch before printing bullshit and half stories that just fit your IFBB agenda. I know you and chick are freinds, but hell, your responsibility to readers dictates that you should have called me to get the entire story. You and I have never even spoke, yet you print things about me, like you know me? I challenge you to find one post, in which I erver took an offensive posture and started any attack on anyone. I always am attacked first, then go into defensive posture. I don't look for fights Guy, but I do finish them, and If someone is going to attack, they better be ready to take shots back.
Guy Grundy, you need to find a new line of work, because you suck as a journalist.....
