Andy Bryniarski
« on: November 06, 2006, 08:26:22 AM »
I always loved this guy in the movies. I used to train shoulders while watching The Program. I've heard he trains at Gold's Venice and gets up to 310 sometimes. He's the guy who played Leatherface, was also "madman" Kelly in Any Given sunday.

Anyone got pics or bio on this guy? I heard he was a teen nationals champ.

I almost think it is pretty safe to say that the character he played in 'The Program', Lattimer...is one of the reasons why steroids are so demonized and people who use them are thought to be a raging maniac about to kill someone by the media and general public.

'Lattimer' is the reason why teenagers in highschool playing ball WANT to use gear.

That...and Ben Affleck in 'The Henry Aaron Story'.

Yea...I know. 'Henry Aaron'. I might be mistaken on the name but I'm almost 90% sure. It was this HBO afterschool special based on a true story about a highschooler who started using gear and went all crazy and almost killed his girlfriend and a rival on-field player.

It was all exaggerated and completely full of shit worse than that TLC documentary.

I wouldn't doubt it. I have TONS of stories about highschool kids thinking they are on roids to find out that their 'steroids' are TRIBULIS or NOXplode.

Know what's funny? Majority of highschoolers drink and drive every single weekend. Every single day in the newspapers I read about a carload of highschoolers who died in a car wreck 'open alcohol found in wreck'.

True, true. But I really wonder the great cause behind the Andro banned. Some said that ever since that reporter caught Mark Mcgwire with that bottle in the locker room, that's when everything started to spill out of control, and then fcking congress stick their nose in. But according to an article I read in SI in 2005, they found out 60% of highschoolers couldn't wait to go to GNC and get their next bottle of androstenedione. they swear that stuff works...lol

I agree. Hedgehod thinks I am crazy for stating that but Hedgehog is a prick anyway so that's beside the point.

I can't even count how many times to this day that name 'Lattimer' is referenced in gyms across America or when the subject of steroids come up among people in the 16-25yr age group who DO NOT use.

If I had a penny for everytime I heard...'Dude, that shit will someone go all crazy like Lattimer man...I dont want to be all putting my head through car windows, man...fawk that...' I'd buy a kit of growth like...right now.

Matt C have you ever seen the HBO Afterschool Special starring Ben Affleck I was speaking of?

It was a crock of shit!!!!

He was stomping that dude in the parking lot like...'HUH! HUH! HUH! HUH!' and getting REAL hardcore in the gym military pressing 115lbs.

true story: I had a part-time job at a GNC back in 97'. it was a seasonal thing. Every first week of the month, as some of you knows, is gold card week. I was amazed at how many kids walked-up to me at the counter and ask me if I can help them find where to buy DECA. I had this 18yr old boy, probably weigh no more than a buck twenty-five, was willing to give me $725 to help him get some Test. I had to laugh my ass out, cause these nerds had no fcuking idea what kind of shiite I could got into if I got caught. I had to warned them not to ever ask me shit about steroids, again. :o. you'll be amazed, at how much info the average high school punk knows about steroids these days. They're doing their homework, guys

Yea, the average highschool football playing kid STILL knows jack shit about steroids...just that it made 'Lattimer' all crazy and shit! If you were a real hustler like the good ol Block up in here...you'd put 200 vitamin b6 tabs in a ziplock bag and tell him it's bulgarian dbol and collect $200 and send him packing...and remind him to bring his friends cuz if he does...you'll give it to him for $150 and then 'he can make $50'.

Take advantage of those dumb ass kids.

lol....I should have done that. I was afraid his dumb ass might got me busted. GNC policies restrict employees sometime to give info about illegal sustances. I wish that kid had met me at a gym or on the streets...lol. it would have been a diff'rent stories

Highschool kids think 'the dude at GNC' are the end all be all in human performance science.

I ever tell you the story about this local standout quaterback at a well known Chicago highschool who over the summer asked me in confidence if I can advise him how to cycle his 'steroids' so he wont 'get all fucked up like Lattimer'?

He was being scouted by various colleges but was told he needs to add 10-20lbs to his frame for him being about 6'1 and 160lbs to be better competitivley.

He shows me his 'steroids' and it was a jug of NoXplode and he told me...'yea, the dude at GNC said it's the same as roids...how long do you think I should use it?'

 Uh huh. True story.

I have fun selling highschool kids vitamin b6 tabs. CHACHING!!!

Andrews not 37. Remember this is Hollywood... add 3-7 years to anyones "reported" age. ;)

I dont know why the fuck you think it is funny to rip people off.  How about being a standup guy and just tell them sorry you can't help them.  These dumbass kids that you speak of could easily even the score.
