Rocket is on form here. I think you are mistaking witty/funny for wearingly monotonous. The guys you mention are almost all 'squad' members who just bash people with gay innuendo or crush them under the sheer weight of posts. Not a lot of wit or funny there. Wit/funny takes a good degree of intelligence and relies heavily on irony and while a lot of people fit this bill and get off good ones, doing so consistently is difficult. Special Ed makes efforts at teh funny, and while he can be hit or miss, there is usually one zinger (eg. Titus and his correspondence cremation degree) that makes it worth while. Blockhead has recently been doing well with the ebonics/street talk, although I think he is overdoing it and it will backfire on him.
