Aye, I was getting soo sick of every friggin' 24-hour arm workout of Matt's, thank God he gave it up and we were able to go on with our lives.

MQ: It was an on and off thing. I wasn’t a drug addict. I was actually self-medicating the anxiety from my ADHD with cocaine.[/i]

Jesus, Mike LOL. Let me explain something to you: you were self medicating your DESIRE TO GET HIGH. Why the hell do some people try to justify their bad habits like this? As if they are kidding anyone but themselves. "I need to abuse drugs and get high every night in order to get in touch with my spiritual/mental/emotional side.". Well...no. You just like to get high, but if you enjoy lying to yourself, ok.
I thought it was BS too, but on A&E's show INTERVENTION they did explain that people with various anxiety disorders often do self-medicate with hard drugs. In particular, a guy described as a "Rage-a-holic" was "self-medicating" with crack cocaine and his family paid for it because they said the only time he was calm was when he was high. Sounds strange, but I bought it.

Troy Zuccolocco (sp) and Dennis Newman. Dennis Newman was suppose to be the poster boy that Weider was waiting for, but he got leukemia. Made Jay Cutler look like a Neanderthal

it's the difference between doing it because you want to have a good time and doing it so you can function in normal life. it's a bit of a fine line, but there is a difference.

Both Achim Albrecht and the earlier mentioned Ian Harrison were big but with a bad structure. In a decade with Yates, Levrone, Ray, Wheeler etc. they were never going to win anything anyway.

I definitely believe certain "personality types" are more likely to use drugs. If they have the ADHD type personality, or disorder if you want to call it that (and I know many don't buy the whole ADHD thing at all), they are more likely to get into stimulants like coke.

I think I read somewhere that you could test if you had ADHD simply by taking speed; if it calmed you down you had ADHD. If you got hyper you were "normal".

I have ADD without the hyperactive part (as is the case with most adults) and I was never into drugs other than alcohol and valium and xanax, all of which calmed me down substantially and...

What was I saying?

Damn, Jaclyn Smith still looks friggin' hot!
