Maher said he didn't understand the Abramoff scandal... He said he knew Jack was bad but that the whole thing was to big to get wrapped around and understand why. He thought this was the same for much of America... I don't know if that is true or Bill just being Bill, but it is a really interesting piece of our history that deserved to be understood. For one thing Dems have sworn to put a stop to this so it's important to know why and what it is they want to stop. Bill Moyers did an excellent documentary about a month ago on this and even if you understand the basics of what happened in the Abramoff scandal, the layout of this documentary is so well done, it really gives a fantastic unfolding of the whole thing... good stuff... history that really should not soon be repeated.
