Ronnie's potential legal penalties.

Since Ronnie lives in Texas, and to put it as tactfully as possible, they are quite conservative, what kind of jail time would he be looking at if caught with a personal supply of steroids, assuming he has no record?

None.  Ron gets his stuff legally prescribed by a doctor most likely.

Cops take care of their own ! and Ronnie is over 40 he could buy them legally but NOT in the ammounts he's taking.

All the pros have scripts for their gear, certainly not for the amount they take but that's just a "technicality".....

Officer: Why so much when your script calls for only 200mg a week?

Pro: They were having a sale, so I stocked up.

Well the guise is as you age your test levels naturally start to get low , men who are around 40 but they can taper off before then .

Any pro that goes to a Dr after they come off a cycle (for those that actually do come off) is going have the test levels of a 12 year old girl, so they'll give them a script for HRT, that's one way. And of course there are always the shady Dr's that will do things like that for the right price.

Steroids are ONLY illegal without a Dr prescription all you need is his note and you're all set without it you're fucked and its NOT illegal to be under influence of steroids just to pocess them without a Drs prescription , so don't ever get caught without them , and I don't do steroids , never have but its silly to deny people the right to do them for no great reason , how many lawyer commericals do you see asking if you took the following prescription drugs ( insert whatever ) call now to be involved in a class action lawsuit , and have you seen the sideffects of some prescription drugs? steroids taken responsibly and cycled are no worse than what the big companies are pushing.

Ron is an ex-cop and still has affiliations with those he worked with. 

He wouldn't get busted by the local cops for anything AAS-related, it would have to come from a Federal level which has overriding jurisdiction.

He also most likely gets his AAS prescribed from an endocrinologist in the amounts he wants for a legit purpose such as hypogonadism.

Ron is untouchable at this point.

Even the people who would want to try and convinct him because they don't like him in Texas could never go up against the people who do....
