as far as needing a "squeeky clean" bb'r to be "good" for the sport, image wise it does nothing.... good does NOT - $$$$ so..... what about controversy, must do well because mainstream media uses it all the time to sell products so... good really = $$$ whats good for the image may not be the same as being good for the wallet. wrestling made about 1.75 biliion dollars from last years wrestle mania, all the show in bodybuildings history may have not even come close to that number, Bodybuilding needs to take a page or something that resembles a page out of wrestlings book. guys oiled up in thongs with muscles prancing around on stage is not cutting it, even if they were articulate ( because some claim ronnie is not which is reason being for his "lack of mainstream success")
the sport needs more. no matter what people/public will see bodybuilders even if they are natural, to the public it doesn't matter because natty or not they are all steriod users. finally you have a guy willing to admit it (steroid use) and does not lower his head about it. everyone gets pissed at guys that say they don't use steroids or even better the guys that use but only 12 weeks before a contest (yeah right). now enter gregg, who lets you know he used crazy amounts but no, there still has to be more. it's crazy, if he let you know that much it wouldn't be worth hiding anything else, he's not trying to look good he is just telling the truth.
