Competition lights do strange things to some people's physiques - he looks as though he was holding a bit of water especially in the delts and upper chest area. Add to that that in that photo he's probably doing his best pose and when it comes to the mandatories he don't look so good. Find some photos of him onstage and you'll see what I mean.

I think he's a michigan guy and he does a commercial for a bodyshop that airs in the detroit area where he's supposed to be stiener or at least that's what it looks like.  Either that or it is Stiener...

yes, as i said you cant really make a true assessment based on some backstage shots...but according to people who were at the show his conditioning was as good as anyone in the class...if you look at him in other shots he does have some holes and structural flaws...i'm not sayng the guy should have been top 5 but with his conditioning and level of muscularity its suprising that he didnt even make the cut.

There are so many good physiques at the Nationals, there are going to be a few guys overlooked.  Plus, just b/c you look good at the weigh in sometimes does not carry over to the show

How freaking discouraging is it that looking like that, you cant even place in the top 15 at nationals this year! Its sickening.

 I seen this guy before at JRNats.

 He has a good physique but I don't get the BigPoppa Pump thing...that was so 7 years ago.

 Lots of quality guys didn't place over the weekend. Chicago boy Erick Seng being one of them.
