lee priest mr australia and mr.universe 89 pics/video..

i know some are gunna dislike me for this but...

has anyone seen them/got them?

i know GMV has them, but on the 'net?

ive got a book showing lee when he was about 17 training.... unreal.

anyone?

(i asked lee once but i think he thought i was as stalker and wouldnt help out.)

i know the GB community will help out... ;)

Lee never actually entered an IFBB contest until 1990.

However, in 1989 he did win the WPF nationals and placed in the WPF universe (the same mr universe title that milos won).

I've seen the wpf nationals video a long time ago. He looked great for an 18-19 year old but I personally felt he was lucky to beat Christopher Dean that day for the overall...

In 1990 he won the lightweight division of the ifbb mr australia.

He never won the ifbb overall mr australia even though it's around on the internet that he did.

correct but he was in nabba and won his mr. aust class prior.

just some pics from that era would be cool...

he was a freak at 17.

I would almost bet that Lee did the universe back in 88 or 89, I actually think I remember seeing a pic of him from back then and being shocked at his level of development.   Can't help ya with the pic, all my mags are in storage and alot of them from that time period have long since hit the trash.

I know before he failed the test-I don't remember that but I'll take your word for it-he was in the top 5 in whatever weight class he was competing in.  I remember this stuff cause he was my age, I was like  :o :o

Yeah Al, we're in the same generation  ;D

I was competing as a teenager and Lee was already past that stage, competing as a lightweight in the open  division

Never did nabba and as for worlds did Poland and failed the deca test.Went back to do Niagara falls armature and was told he was too good and was told he was a Pro Wayne took care of it and the rest is history.Chris Dean was not good enough that day was a gift for him.Ps when did Milos win WPF???.

Pretty sure Lee never did any nabba shows but could be wrong.

He DEFINITELY won the 1989 WPF nationals and went to their universe and I think placed second there.

He beat Chris Dean for the overall but from the tape I saw Chris looked more complete - lee was still very young and dean had an awesome back and was very dense.

Milos won the WPF universe back in the late 80's.

As for his IFBB australian shows his first year in 1990 he won the lightweight class at the Mr Australia and placed 4th or so at the IFBB universe in malaysia.

In 1991, he won the world's qualifier in sydney (he was throwing up all over the place backstage) and went to poland as one of the favourites but failed the drug test.

Took 1992 off and gained lots of size, then went to LA and the rest is history...

I dont remember Peter Wall.. I do remember seeing that blonde hvy wt who appeared as "Sven" in the Massuer sandal ads.. LOL

i remember picking up my first bb book it was called the matrix principals and saw lee priest as a teen. bro you were a freak.  :o   did you ever use the matrix principal  ;)

I think he last competed in 2002... still had the legs but the arms were still weak
