Now you are counterdicting yourself.  According to you the IFBB is the ONLY BB federation where money can be made.  But then when confronted that the IBBB DOES NOT make anyone any money you say that its because of the IFBB the pros can make money fromlike sponsorships and etc.  Well if the IFBB goes away and BB.com is so much into BB and BB is the IFBB (according to you) then how will BB.com survive.  Now in reality BB.com does not need the IFBB but according to you and the IFBB is BB.  So what is it.

first off i suggest that you either write your replies in ms word then run a spellchecker before cut and pasting into GB, or even perhaps pay attention to how things are written.

it reflects quite directly on how you are perceived to treat many other aspects of your life. attention to the most basic of skills, like language is important, so how can you have any credibility at all about any other issue of lesser importance- like the IFBB and PDI and basically anything.

whilst not against lee's crusade for better treatment and on principle a ''righting'' of the playing field/ship, whatever you want to call it, unfortunately these things dont usually go too well unless as a class action, or at least a combined suit. Yes, the IFBB has been the only Pro BB federation that anyone has made any real money...other than the WBF which only lasted 2 years....

If the IFBB folded tent, It wouldn't impact BB.com...the overwhelming demographics of our customers are NOT pro BBers and arent even necessarily Pro BB fans.

The NPC/IFBB does, however, give great exposure to companies like BB.com and hundreds of others by way of the shows, expo's, magazines, etc...so far, I don't see any other federations that give it's athletes or supporters anywhere near the opportunities the IFBB has...PDI included.

I agree with you on the last sentance.  But the PDI is not even a year old yet.  I am pretty sure when the IFBB was less than a year old they weren't getting as much publicity as the PDI nor giving away the money the PDI has given away.  SO taking that into account it very well could be that the PDI is off and running in a very very positive direction and that they will survive and make a huge impact.

Dave, you do not get in trouble with the IRS or the courts for notifying about a possible tax fraud.  You report it, the IRS willdo a preliminary investigation and if it warrants then an audit will be issued.  Bringing up the IRS thing in Lee's case in court is not going to happen.  It has nothing to do with Lee.

I don't think I ever said the IRS and the lawsuit together.  The IRS issues are just icing on the cake and have nothing to do with the lawsuit.  Lee isn't suing the IFBB for tax evasion, I guarantee I never said anything like that.  Bringing up the IRS troubles the IFBB may have is something that will enforce and support anything else Lee may bring up against the IFBB.  It shows how they do business.  Thats it.  I brought the IRS stuff because it establishes a pattern on how the IFBB has been over the past 40 years or so.  When Lee goes into court, the judge the public and others will know about how the IFBB has been negligent in paying taxes.  All it does is support Lee.  But I am pretty sure nowhere have I ever said Lee is suing the IFBB over taxes problems.

like I said before I don't think about the IFBB till I am on here.  Then I immediatley forget about it.  I guess Wayne might know but he was acting President of a company run by the Weiders.  Not sure if the Weiders ever let him know that info.  But I would think he does.  If I can remember next time I talk to him I will ask.  But, you too also know people in the IFBB so maybe you can get it also.  But, I know Chic can get it and help me out.  He knows everything.  Chic can you get me that over the weekend.  Thanks. And maybe you can get a copy of the IFBB tax returns of last year.  I am pretty sure those are public record but I don't know how to get them.  Just make the call and help me out.  It will be intersting to see how much they claimed last year

nycbull... Rod was a good guy and a good friend of mine (Dave Brown) was his training partner for years. They trained like animals. Rod used to train at the same Gold's as me and lived in the same neighborhood.

Now he is homeless (literally) and thinks there is government conspiracy on him. The CIA and FBI are both involved. He says they both think he was related to Mike Mentzer because they both had a similar look. He says there was a trust set up by his grandfather and it was part of the Rothchild trust but the Weiders and the IFBB were both involved in the deception which caused him to never get the money in the trust. There is hundreds of millions of dollars in the trust. He says he has a team of private investigators working on it for him. He used to hang out at a local Starbucks and lunch into the entire story to anyone and everyone who asked "How are you doing Rod"? They asked him to leave. When he lunches into the story you can't get away from him.

I really used to like the guy a lot but now when I see him I head in the other direction. It’s really sad.

The story on Mike and the bank happened around the same time Ray had the Gym in Redondo Beach (Muscle Mill) where Keith (onlyme) and I both trained. I asked Mike if the story was true and he confirmed that it was. Mike had a magazine for a while (my ex-wife did a photo layout for it in one issue) when it started to fail financially Mike went off the deep-end because he personally had all his money into it. This was around 1983. Mike got the idea that this was another thing that Arnold did to “get” him. He was driving down the street and thought that Arnolds hit-men were following him and were going to kill him. He pulled into a bank parking lot ran into the bank and told the bank manager to call the police because someone was trying to kill him. Then he ran behind the counter were the tellers were and hide under a desk. The police came beat the crap out of him and arrested him.

One has nothing to do with the other, Genius....

You just backed up exactly what I've been saying...yes, the IFBB gives opportunity to guys like myself (and Lee) who turn pro, and thus are in a position to sign contracts, endorse products, make the mags, etc, etc,...

The point that I'm in a position NOW is after the fact...the point is...without what the IFBB has to offer, I most likely would NOT have signed a contract with GNC, then BB.com, etc.
