Loved my old gym.Worlds gym was the best gym ever. f**k golds. I went to the one in South Boston and it was like a frekin ballys. Worlds was hardcore but not to hardcore. Then Planet Gayland came and fucked it all up.

i work out at  a gold's gym when i am home, nothing special,i train at the university gym when I am at school, so much better

Only 2-3 Gold's here in Phoenix and all of them are at least 30-40 minutes away - they build one closer to home and I'm there.

 All Gold's gyms in Canada usually go under and most of them have sucked,the only that is fairly decent is Henderson Thornes gym in Mississisauga,ontario,not bad but don't drop a weight or grunt though,so that gives you an idea.Sometimes the best gym is in your own house,great for a change.Lift as much free weight you possibly can and make all the noise you want.Actually WINDSOR,Ontario has an unbelievable gym called lifestlyles,i know the name sounds faggish,but it's actually mean and rugged and huge,5 of everything.

Yes it IS.  But, the idiots who now run it have moved the corporate offices to texas.  They know nothing about the gym industry and has ruined a once great thing.

It wouldn't have sold to planet fitness corporate the gold's owners would have dropped out of golds and converted to planet fitness the way mike katz did.

Planet fitness corporate (a private company owned by 2 brothers and a partner) only own 6 of the gyms themselves in NH. The rest are owned by individuals who pay $25000 upfront for the name and a cut every month of their profits...

it was a franchise owned Gold's to begin with and buried in debt from past owners poor business tactics, it was turning around until the owners decided to bow out...

the one on cole ave hollywood is very gay but still has some hot actress chicks train there.

go to the one in sydney on a saturday morning and you'll find maybe 3 girls out of 200 people there...

I do.  It is better than anything else in my area.  I used to go to Powerhouse before I moved and it was much more intense.  Now I am surrounded by fat housewifes and retirees.
