How do you lower high blood pressure?
« on: November 15, 2006, 06:26:33 PM »
This is not for me but for an elderly woman (my grandmother). She is pretty set in eating chocolats all the time. She doesn't drink much water. I guess she has a lot of stresses too.

So please list all the ways for that.
just push some weight!

If she smokes or drinks, start by quitting those.

Don't add extra salt to anything.

Exercise and try to reduce any stress.

Omega 3 fats and CQ 10 are good for cardiovascular health.

Some people simply are going to have high blood pressure no matter what they do, it can be hereditary.

Try ECA.  Lots of it.  And get a job in retail.  Low-end retil.  Like Dollar General.

Without insulin and igf, you're wasting her fucking time.

Yes, that is a sign...as well as headaches, dizziness and ringing in the ears are all signs of possible hbp.

Anything over 140/90 is considered high. Your top number is considered pre-hypertension, but keep an eye on it, it's getting close to being high, your bottom number is great.

The sweet spot as far as bp goes is 120/80, but it's ok to be a little below.
