Just tried registering with Lotto to play this... does a full voter register check, and I'm not listed for my current address... meaning I can't fucking pay online... fucking jokers...

Why do they need such checks when I could just go to a local shop and buy the tickets there?

If I were to win 120 million, imagine the upheaval and stress it would cause - you'd have to go into hiding for months and there'd be people constantly after you for money and shit. It's not worth the hassle - give me a nice cool five million any day and I'm happier with that.

There is an option of anonymity with the lottery but if you were to win £120,000,000 a figure of that magnitude will have the world's press rooting you out anyway - like what happened to that Irish woman earlier this year - she won 80 mil and she stated she wanted to remain anonymous. She's given most of it to charity apparently.
