Serge looked pretty much perfect to me. I'm not a fan of big legs, although I give props to those who develop them.

I think this "beast" with the dumbass comments must've started following BB yesterday.

Serge's upper body overpowered his legs, from the waist up he was awesome.

Leg development wasn't important for many BBs of that era.

I mean...Arnold retired at one point..he should have taken it!

Same reason he had problems with Weider over a contest Nubret sponsored and why most of the great black BBs of the 70s never won the Olympia while ok BBs like Columbu & Dickerson were allowed to win:

Dickerson is black. The reason that black bodybuilders didn't win is because Arnold was winning the whole time. But Sergio is really black and he got his wins.

^ Maybe not, but they were fuller, bigger, more proportionate and more seperated than Serge's. The guy had amazing upperbody, no question, but in most shots I saw of him, his legs weren't seperated or full enough to match his torso.

it took a long time for arnold to get legs and he would have had them better had he not taken a monster break before the 75 O and also had he not broken his left knee. arnold retired the first time at 28 or 29 he would have gotten the quads if he needed them. when all bodybuilders started coming out with big legs everyone caught up. there are some pics of him with massive legs from the 74 O.
