Yes! why not? being dieted down does not mean you cant still push serious weight. hell im my strongest when im 6% BF and lower.
I'll tell you exactly why not...because you're also succeptable to injury when you're depleated down.
Another reason is that generally 3 days out, you're looking to conserve what little carbs you have coming in...
What's to be gained by training heavy at that point? What are you going to do, get bigger??
