Coleman 16-11 looking bad!!!
« on: November 17, 2006, 03:39:48 PM »
Just saw this pictures and I think he keeps getting worse. He looked better than Cutler at the Amsterdam Grand-prix, but this is bad.

Guys why are you surprised?
It's offseason and I bet Ronnie is taking a break from the sauce training as every year. Check the video, it's not too bad for being 1 month and a half after the O.
Is it me or there is a scar on his arm? Recent surgery?

He is OFF-season. He still looks HUGE and his arms are still dry.

And his hair gives him a different look, my first thought when i saw this picture: cormier is looking huge ;)

He said he's not taking an extended break this time.  Only a few weeks.

And to me he looks pretty good but it will be a few months before he can really get his shit back up to scratch to challenge for the O.

Maybe it's just the photos but how is it even possible to look grainy and watery, soft at the same time!?? Must be the photos or something weird with the posing oil.

Looks fantastic for offseason.  Not sure why anyone would criticize that physique.

Like I said, I would love to see Coleman come back better than ever and knock Jay off.I firmly dont belive it will happen. The more I've thought about it the more I dont like Jay as Mr. O.If anyone can answer this question, please help me out:How is Jay Cutler a step forward towards advancement in physique after Ronnie?Someone said in a thread that each Mr. O has been an improvement on the previous Mr O and Cutler is not an improvement on Ronnie.I agree with this.Answer this question please.

Come on. It's offseason.. He's still freaking huge and with way more cuts than he'd normally have right now. You guys should just wait until next year before jumping on his back. I feel he has one last shot, and next year is it.

Each Mr. O has been an improvement in size, until Jay overtook Ronnie. I don't think bodybuilders have gotton better, however. That is unless you prefer bloated waists.
I think Ronnie has what it takes to beat Jay, but politics will have the final say.

Jay continues to be wider than Ronnie. Of course, Ronnie isn't injured, remember?

True. With the exception of Zane. I am basically looking at the Arnold-to-Haney-to-Dorian-to-Ronnie progression. I mean between those few guys you're talking 29 Olympias. I think that's what the previous poster meant about there being a progression with each successive Mr. O.
And besides, with Zane you had the judges selecting a bodybuilder with aesthetic appeal. They went in a completely different direction. With Jay they are still rewarding mass, because he is essentially built like a fridge. However, in rewarding that mass you can say Jay has not progressed the sport to a new level because his mass has already been surpassed by a previous Mr. Olympia...Ronnie Coleman.
