PS was my favourite but i bought the wife an Xbox 360. It is fucking awesome, im hooked on Tiger Woods 2007. Cant wait to try the PS3, but the 360 more than holds its own. And i always HATED the Xbox with a vengance!

Get a PC and play the games on that - much better in my opinion - I fully upgrade after an average of five years due to technological enhancements. With these consoles there's always going to be new ones out and the games cost a bomb -doesn't make financial sense in my book.

I don't play many games but work in tech so I follow things. The 360 has made inroads into Sony's dominence of the market. I am no fan of Microsoft but they are a player in this market now.

The 360 and the PS3 are the exact same thing except the PS3 has a higher resolution capability, but that only helps if you have a tv with High Definition. Other than that they are the same exact machine but one costs alot less.
