Guy I know -former military - and current contractor that has really high clearance. Supposedly the highest.  He said they not only interviewed and ran background checks on him, but also his family, current friends and childhood friends.

He found out about some old shit his father did and forgot about lol. Father said that was back in the days when it was all on paper... so he thought they would never catch it. haha

He cleared tho.

Yes, my first six months at Raytheon Missile Systems was the easiest six months of my life. You just sit in a room with other new hires waiting for their background checks to get through mostly goofing around on the computers doing ocassional make work stuff. For some it's only a couple of months but if you have relatives in other countries, especially unfriendly countries, it can take forever.

This message is to inform you of the brief details regarding the down time of the forum.
I will not go into specific details but will provide the bigger picture of the situation we encountered.

The reason for the down time we encountered was due changing to a bigger/better server. Right after this process was completed we were hit with repeatedly DDOS Attack which constantly slowed down the forum dramatically. We then took a decision to move company's however took more time than usual to retrieve and upload all files onto the new host.

As of now, we have made the necessary adjustments in terms of security protocol to not allow such a thing to happen in the future.

If they really retrieved all of their files why were they running simplemachines 2.0.6 when the new site opened, but only have enough content now for simple machines 2.0?
