If you ever watched the Battle for the Olympia tapes from the mid to late 90's GH15 is correct, bodybuilders did train heavier with more basic movements. Shawn, Milos and Kevin where always in much better condition than any other bodybuilder in the tapes...

did they load up 5 plates on a side on the hammer plate loading dip machine and bang out 8 reps with it, like i just did yesterday  ???

always used moderate weights with good form, stupid Kevin tore his pec and hurt his lower back essentially finishing his career.

And are we supposed to have faith in GH15 because he said bodybuilders trained differently in the 90s?

FFS Jason Genova could have told us that.

any bodybuild trained much harder in the 20th century,, notice I say much! harder,, we actually lifted not only because we wre bodybuild but also because we liked lifting.. we enjoyed being and LOOKING strong! it was a high for us.. being strong was a high for us.. natural high,, we enjoyed humans looking at us like gods.. we had a kick out of it,,

only in the 21st century on the second decade in particular.. once my bible was in for everyone to read and adapt.. only then the training became much more machinery and smiths and more to suit the level of hormonization 2000s bodybuild are on,, but! there are still some ifbb who train heavy to this day.. and they are the ones I like most,, but they are not many and getting older and older one just retired from top levelcompetitions

Interesting....  So who in your opinion is the oldest IFBB bodybuilder - not necessarily competing any more - who you feel has maintained a physique that is a) still respectable, and b) not life-threatening?

And then how much longer do you think they can safely hormonize for...?

Because it seems to me that eventually EVERYONE should do a Dave Palumbo and shrink the f**k down to stay alive..... or do you disagree?

Thanks
Taffin

dear god, is this too lean?

im a buck 56 there and if i get up to a buck 75-80 at that condition that would be a HUGE CHANGE

i was thinikng it might be better not to be that lean again

btw, i was highly functional there and had good stamina and energy, so i can be that ripped and still feel fine  8)

this is stage condition,, you hve no reason to walk like this in every dya life,,

every day life for the arrogant bodybuild should be at about 6-8% and size is all that maters when you are 6-8%,, now most fellas out there cnat grow to the size need to look impressive to the general public at 6-8% but some can and they end up making money off bodybuild and fitness,,
