GHG15 In many contests I did, I saw the "crazy" back stage (so-called secrets) to get in last minute conditioning....Like: peanut butter/jelly on rice cakes, swallowing a entire jar of honey, eating bags of gummy bears, eating 2-4 chocolate bars, drinking cans of regular soda...this happens directly before they pump up and go out for the pre-judge and night show. Truth is if your not in great condition that day or 2 weeks out, nothing is going to change that right? I mean, for example: if the muscles are a bit flat a little fluid/sugar/sodium can make them pop, but the competitive bodybuilder has to be in the best condition with extremely low body fat levels-right?
What did you do or what was the fad when you competed back in the day...what did most guys do/eat/take back stage while they where pumping up.?
I also heard/was aware about the Esiclene stories, how well it worked in the bis/delts/calves right before going out to pre-judge!
Thanks!
