i've known glass for years. besides bodybuilding, he has a masters in engineering and used to work for one of the aero space groups.
you know those stadium seats for baseball and football games? not only did he do much of the design for most that are in use in the major stadiums, but he owns one of the biggest companies that manufactures them.
some pros, he charges. some not. sometrinees at golds, there are cool people that glass likes and respects, he trains them gratis.
yes, i have gotten many great tips and cool unorthodox exercices from him in the past.
he is definitely a multifaceted, humble individual, who really knows his stuff.
he's one of the guys that really is a "guru," but doesn't call himself that. he truly does what he does because he loves helping people get their goals and improve.
ever see pics of him when he was competing?
they used to call him,"cut glass" when he competed as a pro.
and he also used to coach gymnastics at berkeley(sp?)
he's a great man, very intelligent, thoughtful, and down to earth.
if you ever run into him at golds, if you happen to drop in, catch him when he's not busy, ask for a tip on exercises, etc.
if you're cool about it, i guarantee he'll take an hour of his time to help you with whatever you need.
