So what? In both cases someone dies. It's just the egocentric view that "Hey, if it's not MY son who has to die, christianity is the better choice."

I'd rather see nobody die. I always thought it kind of gross to worship a torture victim that's more dead than alive or dead.  :-X

Good call. Why does someone always have to die in the name of religion?

Fucking ban it.

Source Please ;)  Not that Ashcroft wouldn't say that, but I doubt he said that.  If he said this, sourcing it will be easy, if all you can find is it quoted on chritian forums without a source, it's BS...

No, people die for religion when it comes to islam. Christ died for all our sins, not religion.

Prove his quote about islam to be a fallacy... OH SHIT... YOU CAN'T, IN FACT... IT IS TRUE!

Yeah, but if the US needed troops bad enough they would use the religious angle in a heartbeat to stir crusade sentiment.

If white Europeans were muslims and Middle Easteners were Christians, they'd still be blowing each other to bits and we'd still be pilfering their economy.

False, and most importantly, how stupid are you to say such a statement?

The middle east has resources (oil) that the west can only dream of having. If it wasn't for the represive ideology of islam it would be a booming collection of states like Europe or North America.

Stupid is having nothing other than your race to be proud of.

Intelligent is realizing that through foreign policy and economic imperialism, the West works to keep 95% of middle easterners living like cavemen.

Much like Christianity has been used for uncountable acts of violence, torture and genocide, Islam can be used to foster the caveman mentality, or it could be revised for a more modern mindset.

Fool :)

1) I'm not racist. If I was racist I would say middle easterners are in the mess they are because of their racial heritage and not their choice of belief system which in turn supresses social freedoms etc etc...

2) How does this apply to Saudi Arabia and co? No body is keeping them down other than their self created social torture. Their economic ties are strong, yet, they don't make the top 20 list: http://www.aneki.com/richest.html even tho they have huge oil resources.

3) Acts of genocide in Christianity? Show me where please. How can you revise the word of God (the koran being the word of God is one of the key principles of islam, your ignorance is immense)? Prove to me by example there's a better doctrine than the principles of Christianity to lay the foundations of a nation.

1) I didn’t say you were racist I said you had nothing to be proud of other than race :)

2) Think of Saudi Arabia (read Royal Family) as a puppet regime. They help the US out with access to bases and oil, the US helps keep them in power and helps make them even richer well the rest of the country gets relatively poorer. Basically they sell their oil discounted which fucks over the rest of their country, but in return they get to keep a massive amount of $$. Not to mention the US went out of its way to help Islamic Fundamentalism flourish all over the middle east as an attempt to stifle democracy and f**k over the Russians. Democracy would be much more expensive for our pumps because we would not be able to negotiate the same sort of margins.

3) Acts of genocide in Christianity include (but are not limited to) Papal complicity towards Hitler, the Spanish inquisition, wiping out the natives in the new world, etc etc

The word of god is continually revised, a prime example: charging interest used to be a sin now its not, eating meat on Fridays used to be a sin now its not....

Lastly, as for Christianity being an effective way to run a country, try turning the other cheek when someone is attacking you and see how long you stay in power ::)

Dipshit :)

Word of god = book written by man to trick stupid men (like you) into giving up things in this world. If youre dumb enough to believe the bible is the word of god youre dumb enough to believe some assholes interpretation of it ;)

"Britain, USA, Europe" ... Funny I always thought Britian was a part of Europe?? Anyways, please show me where ANY of these countries have turned the other cheek?

I don't believe in God. The point about the koran being the word of God is obviously above you.

Well I'm British, and alot of Brits see it as us and them.
