because you're not used to it , but I mean throwing a number around like 410lbs like it means something it terms of freeweights .

1/ The offer is for ND. He's pussied out from the challenge and instead created this thread. bwahahaahahahahahaha

2/ ND also attacked the Smith machine, not knowing much about it either-that his hero Yates uses it religiously for squats.

Conclusion: ND's a know-nothing little puzzy. bwahaahahahahahahaahahah ah

ND maxing out..

Nice backpeddling  ;) Yates did free squats for 5 years before he switched over to Smiths and smiths are no where near as bad as a fucking Bowflex I mean seriously

I will use the smith for squats once and awhile as well you can really focus on the quads ...extra reps with the higher weight..

Know your hero before sucking his balls. Yates went to Smith both because of injury and because it worked his quads better. Either way, you're obviously clueless.

You're the one who brought up the Smith in the same light as a Bowflex you idiot.

I can't believe this tool is bragging about benching 410lbs on a BowFlex lol almost as valid as a smith machine

hahaahahahahaahahahahah

No I made the analogy that you're bragging about an inflated number that you COULD NOT do on a barbell , there is a HUGE difference between squatting 500 pounds on a smith machine and doing it with a barbell  ;) and you're trying to brag about benching 410lbs for 15 reps when in actuality you couldn't bench 410lbs for a fucking single

Smith machine is a HELL of a lot better for building muscle than a Bow Flex

i'm sure it's difficult, but i'd be willing to bet far more people could get 410x15 on a bowflex than could do it, say, with a barbell.

That must be why this puzzy ND is not willing to take the money and do it, and why he compared a Bowflex to a Smith machine, something his hero Yates uses religiously. Can you say stupid? hahaahahahahah

Those bars don't weigh 15lbs there is no such thing as 410lbs on a bowflex

nd's right, though. a smith is far better than a bowflex but bragging about lifts on either is retarded.

In that case it will be EASY for ND to do...he won't have to puzzy out making threads about it here.. ;D ;D

Utter BS, based on his statement on the other thread:

Oh I did I compared the inflated number YOU CAN NOT DO on a barbell , plenty of people can't bench what they can on a barbell when using a smith machine

You're bragging about using 410lbs on a BowFlex try 410 pounds for a single on a barbell then I'll be impressed  ;)

And again name one legitmate bodybuilder  EVER who built his physique using a bowflex , smith machines are useful a fuck of a lot more useful than a Bow flex

nd brings up another good point. i can't squat on a smith what i can with a bar because i'm not used to the mechanics of it. that said, there isn't a person on this planet who can bench more with a bar than they can on a bowflex. the free bar is the far superior tool, but the smith can be useful and a number of people use them with great success.

i could see a bowflex being used as a burnout move, but anyone who sits down and benches on a bowflex for your main exercise is off the team.

Meanwhile this genius, who has completely misunderstood what ND says, has provided no basis for this baseless claim.

great post ! Smiths machines are great in CONJUNCTION with traditional barbells Bow Flex is a waste of fucking money unless you're training for the Gay Olympics .

well here's how it works. when you want to make a claim, the burden is on you to prove it true, not on me to prove it false. if you say a bowflex is worth bragging about, then you have to prove that you can get even decent results just using a bowflex. so your challenge is to find someone who can bench 410 for 15 on a bowflex and looks awesome. meanwhile i'll get someone who can do 315 for 10 with a bar and looks better than your example.

with the bowflex you will use muscle like you never have, ive seen on the commercial that the powerrods are much harder to move than free weights

No, dumbass. If you'd read the thread you'd have already figured out that ND was backpeddling because he's not strong enough for a Bowflex and backed down. Great job being manipulated-wanna buy some stock? ;)

i don't give a shit what nd said originally. you're arguing for the merits of a bowflex. no, not everyone can do 410 for 15 on a bowflex, because it still requires a fair amount of muscle strength. any kind of tension on the muscle is going to require force, and a bowflex is no different. a friend of mine has a bow machine of some kind in his attic and i've screwed around on it before. can i use the maximal resistance on every exercise? hell no. the thing can definitely provide more resistance than i can move.

the point here is: so what? who fucking cares, it's a bowflex. if someone comes up to me and tells me they can bench 500 pounds on a bowflex, i'm going to laugh even if that is more weight than i can move, because what the fuck are you doing seeing how strong you are on a bowflex? that's horribly stupid.
