How do you mean "fallacy"?

A moderate muslim is IMO a muslim who doesn't quite believe the Quran and is secular. How is that a "fallacy"?

Next you'll be telling me Christians can believe Jesus wasn't the son of God and isn't mans saviour for dying on the cross for all our sins... And they're still Christians... ::)

That's not the same thing.

IMO, a modern day moderate, secular muslim believes in Allah and Muhammad (PBUH) as his Prophet "in some way".

Yeah well, having an opinion that contradicts a FACT is just lunacy.

Muslims have to believe the koran is the word of God. No more discussion on the topic, your opinion is wrong brother.

I know full well that the Quran is, to the letter, the words of Allah.

They still believe they are Muslims though, that is the important part, they are considered "moderate" muslims.

You and I, along with orthodox muslims, can agree that they obviously aren't muslims since they don't follow or believe the Quran 100%. But they honestly believe themselve to be muslims.

I honestly believe myself to be a T-Rex, therefore I am?

So, if some druggy on LSD honestly believes himself to be an orange whilst tripping and starts to peel his skin because of this... he's actually an orange?

Talking of fallacies ::)
