John Rocker is leading a "Speak English" campaign and recently appeared on FOX NEWS. John is the former pitcher for the Atlanta Braves who caused quite a stir. Ok, great but what does this have to do with anything? He appeared on the show with Alicia Marie, who is a current NPC figure competitor and Former Miss Bikini America. It wasn't clear why she is part of the campaign, perhaps Alicia can chime in and fill us in...

I agree, being a European Immigrant myself, if you don't speak 'some sort' of english and you're residing in North America or America that's a problem... if you move to a country where the language is english then it's your civic duty to LEARN THAT LANGUAGE. I don't get the big deal, I came here when I was 9, took me 2 1/2 months to learn fluent english with no accent, why can't other people ?!

Agreed - it is great to speak a number of languages, but if you reside in a country where the main language is English, then learn to speak English. If I lived in France, I would learn French, and so on...

I had the exact same guy(s), Croatch. Tried 3-4 times - no dice. Ended up just removing program and installing a new one because they were so incomprehensible.

This show aired about 2 months ago on the O'Reilly Factor and was a re-run last night.

Alicia Marie is dating Rocker, thats why she was there. Rocker was at the North Americans with her back in September. I met him there and chatted with him for a bit.
