are you sisters? (said to me and my 15 year old daughter)

that's a huge compliment and you ought not mind being asked that.

What I'd like to hear are the answers we all come up with to the questions we're sick of being asked?

"Are you using this bench?" (Meanwhile you're no where near the bench).

Yep.  One guy asked me on THREE separate occasions whether I use steroids.  He doesn't lift on a regular basis.  I'll be a little irritated if he asks me again.

Heres a question for you linda.. are you really xxx?  ;D

I'll still try to answer any question I'm sick of being asked.

I tried to log in as Linda and it wouldn't let me, so then I hit the x button and got logged in.

I'm 5'6", perfect size 10-12 (ex-fitting model) and got sick and tired of it.  Enough pins stuck in me already.

Then I moved from NY back to London and am now a muscely gardener.

Enough answers?

I should, but I have a hard time being sarcastic in person.  Much easier on the internet.   :)

yeah, sorry, I knew you wouldn't like my post.  I realised it wasn't that funny and a bit harsh after I typed it.  No worries.  You know what you're doing.

Just don't do knee-jerk.

try to smile?

my first (or second, I can't remember) long-term boyfriend was drop dead gorgeous.  He had everyone after him, all the women and most of the men.

He was very young (so was I, but anyways), and he was catholic.

I had to teach him how to take a compliment.  To say thanks, but no thanks.  He had serious problems with men coming on to him and could not handle it.  I told him to look on the bright side, what would it be like if you weren't turning people on?

but if on the other hand, you are getting abusive questions (go decide which are what), then you should give back 101%.

If they are rude and obnoxious then give it your best. I don't understand why they would be, but I'm getting used to it and am learning to be far more passive as I grow older.

perhaps they're jealous. That's my theory and it works for me.

The trouble is working out whether people are being honest.
