if mason or someone else can vouch for you, then i'll let it go. i'll be dubious, but i'll take their word for it. but you have to concede that claiming what is, really, one of the the best bodyweight raw benches of all time is one hell of a claim.

I doubt of all time, there are ALOT of strong MF'ers out there who are in gyms everywhere benching big who don't compete or even have the desire to compete...just like in bodybuilding. Another person who trained in that gym with us was a Japanese dude in the I think 132lb class that held several titles in the deadlift (I can't think of his name right now)!!

I don't bench that much since I tore my chest several years ago, but I promise it's damn near double what you do!

right, but they're not stronger than world record holders. to use your bodybuilding analogy that's like saying you would have beaten Zane in the under 200 class in 1979, but you just didn't feel like competing, and that there were people all over the country who would have won if they felt like it.

I undoubtedly would have been elected President back in 2004, but I didn't feel like running... a campaign would have cut too much into my golf and internet times.

nope, just pointing out that it was a one in a billion statistical anomaly that Bush would win both OH and FL, based upon the tried and true exit polling method.

I guarantee you that Davidpaul is bigger than you, you fuckin pussy. A friend of mine works out at the same gym as him(I won't mention the name of the gym out of respect), but he is supposedly a fuckin beast. Btw Darth, why are you still posting after you proved to everyone what a pos coward you are?

Ned,

You and your 160 lb soaking wet frame crack me up.  Tell me, why do you inhabit a site devoted to BODYBUILDING when in fact you're a twig?  Just curious.

Can you please explain the difference between those two things? I am a Canadian biochemist/biologist and really haven't a clue about American politics, although I find them interesting :)

exit polling is a method of predicting elections whereby people are asked about their votes after they leave the ballot. it's not perfect, but it tends to be a good guideline. in 2004 they were so astronomically wrong that it aroused a fair amount of suspicion in the legitimacy of the election.

All you need to know about our politics is that our current President is an idiot.

Exit polls - they ask something like 1 in 10 people, after they vote, WHO they voted for.  It's incredibly accurate throughout history, as you get a population sample of nearly 10%.  They use to it announce the winner the minute the polls close, and they are nearly ALWAYS spot on with their predictions.

Well, in 2004, john kerry had a good lead in FL, and a great lead in Ohio, based upon these exit polls.  This would have given him the victory.  But, suddenly the new electronic voting machines (the prez of this company is a strong repub campaigner who voewd to help put Bush in office), well these machines said Bush (who I voted for actually) won with a nice large margin in both places.

Happening in Florida would be a 1 in 50,000 chance.  In Ohio, the odds were even higher.  Together?  It was in the billions.  Then, a programmer came fwd, and passed a polygraph (lie detector), claiming he was paid by Bush'd brother jeb (the FL governor) to write software which reverses electronic voting machines (strangely, if you reverse the results, they line up with exit polls perfectly).

A FL detective vowed to break the case open, but then drove across state lines to Georgia (no autopsy state) and beat himself up, bound his wrists, then cut his wrists while several strange men hung outside his hotel room.  Case died with the lawman.  But anyone with half a brain and an understanding of statistics will look at the 2004 election with disgust.

We don't know that, just about everyone wants a strong bench when they train, again, there are people all over the world that could probably come out of the woodwork and could compete but they don't....crap, look how strong some of these guy are in the prison systems alone, they can't squat or deadlift but they can bench their asses off, I have ALWAYS been stronger than the average in the bench!

You never answered my question about why a 160 lb soaking wet twig lives on a BODYBUILDING site...  You don't have the goods physically, obviously.  So that's why you keep your mouth shut.  You know your place in life, and on here.

yes, but once again, we aren't talking "stronger than average". we're talking about holding world records. yes there are probably a lot of people who would be competitive if they felt like it but aren't. you're talking about it like there are people with a 110mph fastball and perfect accuracy that just don't feel like playing the game.
