What book you reading at the moment?
« on: November 26, 2006, 11:46:37 PM »
I'm on a major mission to finish the book I started reading a month ago - it's called "Executive Orders" and it's by Tom Clancy - it's a bit heavy-going but I'm determined to finish it because it's nearly 1300 pages long.

What was the last book you guys read? Discuss.

Anabolic Primer. I usually don't do recreational reading, I choose to read what can instruct me about any kind of subject that I might be interested in.

Yes, I've flicked through that - looks like a decent book. I haven't bought it because it's a bit expensive but it looks like it's got a lot of good information in there.

"The Prometheus Deception" by Robert Ludlum.  I'm about to postpone that one and read Grisham's "The Broker."

I dont read books, I read yahoo news and watch documentaries.

Occasionally I like to watch CNN as I cook, but thats only cause it makes my first world problems seem trivial to watch little brown people getting blown to bits :)

I'm almost finished the southern gothic novel "The Little Friend" by Donna Tartt (better late than never) -- about a girl who is determined to solve the murder of her young brother twelve years earlier, when he was found hanging from a tree during a family gathering. She becomes convinced, without any evidence, that the murderer belongs to a degenerate white trash family... suspense and tragedy follow. Extremely well-written.

I'm trying desperately also to get through DOMINION - The Power of Man, the Suffering of Animals, and the Call to Mercy, but it's a very hard read.

For some bizarre reason, I purchased "Crossing The Rubicon" during the summer. I think all your threads are subliminally polluting my brain!

You can pay-pal me the £16 I spent on it as a form of reparations, if you like?

I studied contract law last year. Compared to public law and land law it's a riot.

9/11 Synthetic Terror: Made in the USA
By webster tarpley.

incredible book. he completely breaks down 9/11, fully sourced on everything.

If I was a billionaire I'd pay every American to read this book lol... it's just the most complete, rational, detailed explanation on terror self-attacks by our nation and others.  Once you see that other countries do it all the time to gain and keep power, it seems kinda silly to think that ONLY THE US DOESN'T.
