I am dinner and club kinda guy.

However my buddy always takes girls rock climbing, or some other event where touching is required.
It works for him.
Rock climbing is good because she has to trust you.

This is a good post. I would lay off the club tho. If she is hot she will get mugged and it can make for an uncomfortable situation if a drunk meatball steps on your toes. Not good to get into with a drunk asshole on the first date.

I would go for the trendy restaurant and then wine bar. Maybe hit a high end ultra lounge to cap off the night. All the decor and music you would get at a club but with a sexy relaxed atmosphere.
