This years O was mighty tough. Everyone in the top 10 had a world class physique.

Actually, even a few guys who didnt place ( dave henry, ronnie rockel) were world class.

Just an awesome overall group!

88 was really good, I don't know if it was the best but there were alot of quality guys up there, the list of guys who didn't make the top 10 was pretty crazy..Robinson, Shawn Ray, Phil Hill, Mike Ashley, Ed Kawak, Al Beckless..Berry DeMay was insane at that show.

That 96 clip is pretty sweet.  Chris Cormier looked incredible.  Ronnie looked to be in great shape and I wasn't really impressed with Dorian (he was flat) although his condition was awesome.  Charles Clairmont could have done some damage had he got a nutrionist.

99 had an awesome lineup.

1999 Mr. Olympia Results
October 23, 1999 at Las Vegas, Nevada

This Mr. Olympia was one of the best organized and attended. The venue was completely sold out, with hundreds trying to get tickets. Interesting note was when Ronnie was proclaimed Mr. Olympia, Flex turned around on stage, and took off his medals, and then put his hand up proclaiming he is #1. The results were:

Got to go with 1988 as well,top quality phsiques as well as top quality posing routines.When bodybuilders actually spent time working out a routine.

how did dorian win that olympia, there are multiple guys who blow him away. honestly his legs look narrow as hell and his arms are piss poor. shawn and nasser looked good, chris looked a little flat too me, and flex looked amazing.

That years Olympia was really good except for the fact that everyone who was there during the World Series knew that Ronnie would repeat as long as he looked like he was near his peak from the first time he won it which was a major surprise.

I still like the 1998 Olympia a little more than that because it was the 1st Olympia without Dorian and based on all the opinions in the magazines, it was Flex Wheeler's contest to win or lose and he finished second basically because of the size issue.

1968 was a very good year, 1969 was even better, Sergio beat someone that year, can't remember who ;D.

In all seriousness I think 1999 was by far the best year. Everyone except the Fux was in super condition. As much as I love Flex, I don't see how he believes he should have won that show over Ronnie. Had Flex presented the '99 package at the '98 show I think he would have won easily. But I personally believe only Sergio '72, Dorian '93 and Arnold '74 have presented better physiques than what Ronnie did at the '99 O.
